Hi, I'm Alexandra Lazarescu, and I've been immersed in the wonderful world of yoga for over a decade. Teaching this beautiful practice has been my passion for the past seven years. My yoga journey took an exciting turn eight years ago when I embarked on a transformative six-month trip to Asia. In Nepal, I had the incredible opportunity to learn from gifted yoga masters who encouraged me to further my training in India. Fast forward to 2016 and I proudly obtained my yoga teacher certification from Parimukti Yoga School in Arambol, Goa. Little did I know, that 200-hour YTTC course was just the starting point of my profound exploration into the essence of yoga. It fuelled my desire to delve deeper, uncovering the true purpose of yoga as a tool for self-discovery, self-love, acceptance, and liberation from self-judgment. My journey led me to additional certifications as a yoga nidra and pranayama teacher, adding more layers to my expertise.
My fascination with the mind-body connection grew, prompting me to pursue the Somawise course last year with Dr. Luke Sniewski, a wellbeing coach and somatic therapist. This integrative therapeutic approach empowers us to tap into the wisdom of our bodies, using various tools, including yoga.
One of my joys is practicing and teaching yoga outdoors. During my time in Nepal, the idea of yoga&trekking blossomed and it has since become my signature concept. I've been organising yoga treks in both Romania and Nepal, combining the serenity of yoga with the exhilaration of trekking. It's been a remarkable journey, and I'm excited to continue sharing the transformative power of yoga with others."
